WISE暑期项目

网上暑期学习

The Westminster Interactive Summer Experience (WISE) program offers an exciting array of online courses for Westminster students and high school students from outside Westminster. From an introduction to world history, 文学和代数, 来自西班牙语和化学, 学习计算机科学, the courses are designed to prepare students for the coming school year as well as stimulate their curiosity and develop study skills which will help them in all their future academic pursuits.

Westminster faculty offer a slate of tutorial-style, non-credit courses. Students engage directly with faculty each day for an hour and receive feedback on their independent work, with an overarching goal of improving their critical reading, 写作和口头表达能力. 在很多情况下, the courses can provide a preview of the coming year or prepare for a specific standardized test or essay.

Class meetings take place online. The daily online meeting times are flexibile, and the teachers often provide a range of meeting times to help with planning purposes.

Courses will be offered during one two-week session: 7月15-26.
